Goodbye Middle East

Or "Cood Bye" as the Egyptian Taba border crossing might say...

I'm leaving momentarily for the Ben Gurion airport. My journey back to the United States begins with a 5am flight from Tel Aviv to Zurich, then onward to Boston. Around 7pm tomorrow, EST, I'll be back in my own country, living amongst native English-speakers once again.

And, although I'm looking forward to the semester as I always look forward to each semester, I honestly don't want to leave the Middle East.

More stories of my travels are still yet to come, so stay tuned at least for the next week or so as I update with a week filled with over a dozen transportation options.
